Why I Coach

I started my sporting journey as a fairly average club and representative level athlete in team sports before deciding to take sprint training more seriously. What began as a way to improve my speed quickly became a passion for the sport and a complete change in my athletic career. Through sprint and power development, I went from an average baseball player to representing the Australian national team in approximately six months, showing me first hand how much speed, power and dedicated training can transform an athlete. Today, I am a state medallist in sprinting, but I have never forgotten where I started.

I coach because I want to help athletes of all levels discover how much they can improve. Whether you are a developing athlete looking to become faster and more powerful for your sport, or a competitive sprinter striving to be the best, I want to share the knowledge and experience I have gained throughout my own journey. My goal is not only to develop better athletes, but great people — teaching athletes how to handle failure, move on from mistakes and focus on making the next rep, race or decision better. I believe sport can teach us far more than physical performance, and I want to help every athlete I coach build the confidence, resilience and mindset to keep improving.
